As a high performance athlete or coach, you have a busy schedule and it can be challenging to find time to dedicate to areas outside of sport. This can be a tough situation to navigate as we often feel pressure to give sport and life equal attention. You might find yourself wondering, can sport life balance really be achieved? Join Sharleen Hoar, Canadian Sport Institute Pacific Mental Performance Lead, as she directs you through a discussion on finding harmony between sport and other areas of life, and how this can fluctuate during different times of your competitive season. Following an online introduction to this talk, athletes and coaches can join Sharleen in an interactive workshop, where they’ll learn how to distribute time during different parts of the season, and various mental skills that can be practiced and utilized to regulate balance.
